JITTERS-EATERS educational centre invites our youngest to theatre workshops in English. Through drama and various games and activities children develop creativity, improve motor skills, build self-confidence and discover ways of expressing emotions. The course is led in both English and Polish, which helps, by the way, acquire basic linguistic skills and positively associate a foreign language with a great fun.
The aim of the course is to learn a foreign language, along with a simultaneous development of imagination, recognition and expression of emotions, stimulation of the vocal apparatus, building a children-group-carer relationship, learning the understanding and performance of instructions, preparation of the child for a further education and building valuable relationships within the peer group.
Through simple acting tasks, physical and movement games, music, and work with objects, the child learns how to deal with fear of public performances, builds self-confidence, develops imagination and phantasy. The workshop includes both dynamic and more static elements that allow the children to practice concentration.
As a results of the course, the children will improve their communicative competencies in English as well as self-confidence.
The entire class is conducted bilingually (English and Polish). Together with the instructor, the classes are conducted by our original muppets ? THEATRE JITTERS-EATERS.
