The 13th edition of the cycle, which summarizes the most important achievements of Polish cinema films, with modern interpretations of jazz. As part of the previous editions there were presented the images of ?Polish film school? and the creators. In this edition, a theme will be ?cinema of moral anxiety? ? a trend in Polish cinema between the years from 1976 to 1981, considered as the most important phenomenon of a cinematography since the Polish Film School.
The canon of mainstream include films such as: Rough Treatment, Camouflage, Constans and Contract (Krzysztof Zanussi), Amateur, Case (Krzysztof Kieslowski), Provincial Actors by Agnieszka Holland.
Rough Treatment is one of the most important films of the “cinema of moral anxiety”, in the achievements of Andrzej Wajda. This is a drama of a prominent journalist who is involved in personal and professional conflicts, and the director shows us the mechanisms that function in the People’s Republic of Poland that destroy the people who are independent and defiant. The film received many awards: in Gdynia, Cannes (Ecumenical Jury Prize), Warsaw Mermaid of Polish Film Critics.

Bogdan Hołownia. One of the most sensitive Polish jazz pianists, a brilliant arranger, called a romantic of a piano. An excellent lecturer of a theory of improvisation, harmony and a new recording features and chords. A favorite pianist of Polish stars: Grażyna Auguścik, Lora Szafran, Anna Maria Jopek. He is graduated from the famous Berklee College of Music in Boston. In the USA he played together with Larry Kohut, Jeff Stitely, Bronek Suchanek, Grażyna Auguścik, Michał Urbaniak and Urszula Dudziak.
The first experiences in playing jazz music are related to the quartet of John Ptaszyn Wroblewski. Later he collaborated with Janusz Muniak, Adam, Kawończykiem, Bronek Harasiuki Kazimierz Jonkisz.
He awarded the Fryderyk in the category “Jazz Album of the Year” for solo piano album “Don?t Ask Why” – piano solo, is also a winner of the Grand Prix of Jazz “Music Lovers” in the category of artist of the year.
