In November 1830, a group of young patriots from the Infantry Officer School in Warsaw begins an uprising against Russia, called the November Uprising. The army is fighting for independence. Three months later, on the 25th of February 1831, one of the bloodiest battles of this uprising took place: the battle of Olszynka Grochowska.
