Sławomir Zygmunt sings poems by K. K. Baczyński
The Mayor of the Mokotów District, Rafał Miastowski, and the Chairman of the Mokotów District Council, Miłosz Górecki, invite you to an extraordinary event on the 100th anniversary of the birth of Krzysztof Kamil Baczyński, one of the greatest Polish poets of the 20th century and a soldier of the Home Army who died in the Warsaw Uprising.
During the concert we will see:
Sławomir Zygmunt (singing, guitars, harmonica)
A resident of Warsaw from Czerniaków, decorated with the Gloria Artis Medal for Merit to Culture. He is a musician, journalist, writer, and producer, in the past associated with the famous Hybrydy club. He has recorded ten solo albums of songs, and his songs have also been included in several compilations of a poetry song. He is the author of books (“Bruce Lee and others. Lexicon of Eastern martial arts films”, “Meetings with …”. He also composes music for documentary films (incl. “To refresh insurgent hearts. The story of the painting, Our Lady of the Home Army”).
