A story about the soldier’s parents told from the perspective of their seventeen-year-old grandson Janek. Written in dramatic events in post-war Poland, however, it contains a unique content: the plot focuses primarily on the strength and courage of parents, showing their struggle to regain their dignity and balance after losing their son.
