Krzysztof Komeda and Marek Karewicz, musician and photographer – these are two important names in the history of Polish jazz, which combines love for music. Krzysztof Komeda, was one of the founders of the Polish jazz school and the precursor of modern jazz in Poland.
Marek Karewicz, one of the most respected Polish photographers of the jazz scene. He was born in 1938 in Warsaw. As a young boy, he played trumpet and double bass in jazz bands. He took care of photography from the late 1950s.
Karewicz is a member of the Association of Polish Art Photographers, he was also awarded the honorary title of La FIAP: Fédération Internationale de l’art. Photographique.
He presented his works in Poland and abroad.
