Learning opera, musical and entertainment singing includes breathing exercises, speech apparatus warm-up exercises, diction, and individually selected vocal exercises aimed at expanding the voices range and strength. The participants will learn how to open the throat and release the voice in a natural way without artificiality or copying. Working on the interpretation of songs, they get to know legato performance techniques, dynamics. In opera singing, we use the N. Vaccai’s – practical method of Italian singing, old-Italian arias, and then – songs and opera arias. When working with musical pieces, we are striving for a release of emotion and developing the student’s individuality. The basis of the method is unconditional acceptance of the student, where singing becomes a form of therapy.
