On the way back from the far south of New Zealand, we often found ourselves again in prehistory. From the stone forest, which has not changed its place for over 2 million years, we went along the steepest street of the world towards the mysterious Moeraki balls. We again spent some time in the vicinity of the Franz Josef Glacier. We evaluated the taste of white wine at Marble Point and caught some breath on the hospitable beaches of Kaikouri. And all this to reach the famous, artistic Christchurch.
