“Move! Dance is life”

room: Broadway
free entrance

Movie, dir. Fanny Jean-Noël.
The dance accompanies a man from the beginning. In the culture of primitive tribes, where it has been preserved in its truest form, it dances mainly for eschatological reasons – in connection with death, new life or great events.
Fanny Jean-Noël takes us on a journey to 18 places around the world to show the unusual richness of dance culture, its roots and influence on the present day. It shows a very close relationship of movement and culture in which he was educated.

Screening of the movie as part of the Program of “Body Says”- curator Aleksandra Osowicz. Cinema of Dance in the Center of Dance Art.
Organizers: PERFORM Artistic Foundation, Theater Development Foundation ‘NOWA FALA’ / HOTELOKO movement makers
The project co-finances by the city of Warsaw.
