Manaslu (8156 m), the eighth mountain in Nepal in the ranking of the most dangerous eight-thousands, takes the unflattering fifth place.
Monika Witkowska, who together with Joanna Kozanecka became the fourth / fifth Polish woman at this summit, will talk about the details of the recent trip. During the show we will find out what is hidden under the terms: magical ice fall, departure at the top, crayfish in the chest, or the Chinese on the ladder and what can be seen from the top?
Speaker: Monika Witkowska – a traveler (visited about 180 countries), a lover of mountains and an avid sailor (she circumnavigated Cape Horn twice, defeated the North West Passage). Every day – journalist and expedition pilot and guide of high-mountain trekking. She began her adventure with the mountains from the Polish mountains and completed a course in the Beskids Student Guide Circle, then it was time for the Alps and finally – the higher mountains (including Mount Everest, which she conquered in May 2013). In 2015, she finished the crowning of the Earth in the most difficult version, 9 peaks.
