The year 1794. Poland is after two partitions. Tadeusz Kosciuszko, the hero of the war with Russia, heads the insurrection. On the market in Cracow, he swears that he will fight for “freedom, the whole, independence.” Unfortunately, the Kosciuszko uprising is defeated. In 1795, it comes to the Third Partition. Poland disappears from the map of Europe.
