We are a team that has been active for 2 years in KADR Culture Centre. 2020, March, we became a female vocal ensemble, thus meeting the needs of women interested in singing who live in the neighbourhood. We have practised a diverse repertoire, creating a musical kaleidoscope of epochs and musical styles, including canons, polyphonic pieces (up to 5 voices), a capella and instrumental accompaniment, covering classical music – from the Renaissance up to the 21st century (e.g. M. Gomółka, Th. Morley, G.F. Händel, W.A. Mozart, J. Brahms, H.M. Górecki, J. Świder), entertainment, film, gospel and spiritual music, carols, pastorals and passion works. In total, we already have 38 pieces in our repertoire. This year has resulted in a very large vocal match between the ensemble’s permanent participants, which resulted in a Carols Concert in the Maria Skłodowska National Institute of Oncology, which was organized in quite a short time, and music interludes- reports from our work are posted on Facebook (we also set up our fanpage there), unfortunately, the global situation meant that we had to postpone our concert plans for the coming future.
The participants feel best in the classical music repertoire, but in order to have fun during the classes we have also included an entertainment repertoire.
