Jazz Band Młynarski – Masecki

We invite you to take part in a virtual online concert of the Jazz Band Młynarski Masecki band. The date of the concert is not accidental, because we celebrate the 105th anniversary of the incorporation of Mokotow to Warsaw, and the concert’s repertoire will be based on music that was created in the interwar period in the formation of the capital of our District. We will hear contemporary, but perfectly reflecting the spirit and atmosphere of those times arrangements of hits, reigning on the stages of Warsaw cabarets in the 20s and 30s, “That you would know (How do I want)”, “Abram, I will play for you”, “Warsaw, my Warsaw”. The music and words for these hits were created by the most famous Polish composers and lyricists at that time, Henryk Wars, Alfred Melodyst, Zygmunt Karasiński, Andrzej Włast, Julin Tuwim and Marian Hemar.

The on-line “live” broadcast of the concert of Jazz Band Młynarski – Masecki will be available for free on Facebook of the Mokotow District, YouTube channel of the Mokotow District Office and the Kadr Cultural Center.
