A musical vision of a united Europe in the work of Krzysztof Komeda interpreted after 50 years by Jan “Ptaszyn” Wróblewski.
Komeda’s work ‘My sweet European homeland’ was created in 1967 as one of Krzysztof Komeda’s latest projects made before his departure to the USA, commissioned by Joachim-Ernst Berendt – head of the German SWF section, as part of his ‘Jazz und Lyrik’ album series. The idea was to combine Polish poetry with the music of Komeda.
