Have you ever wondered how you can record your own idea or print a frame captured on camera? Through practical exercises, we are going to learn the difference between vector and raster graphics, get to know what typography is, see if the type’s design evokes emotion. We are going to learn how to give your idea a graphic form and how to prepare this form for print. We will also discuss designing itself: can it extend your life? Change the outcome of the next elections or affect your immediate environment?
The course is dedicated to people who wish to learn the basic design tools (Adobe software package: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and how to communicate using visual language. During joint conversations, we are going to learn the basics of graphic design and discover contemporary graphic trends. ?Graphic Design 101? serves as an introduction to the beginning of your journey with design. Thanks to classes being conducted under the supervision of the instructor, each participant will be able to learn the basics at their own individual pace, and joint conversations about the projects will sharpen the imagination on how to practice design, and why. Maybe in the future, the knowledge you learn during these classes will allow you to turn your passion into a fun job.
