Freedom to the third power – an international project wherein young people from Culture Centre Kadr in Warsaw (Poland) and the Children and Youth Center in Vilkaviskis (Lithuania) participated. The project was financed from the European Union Program Erasmus +. A youth exchange in Olecko (between 21st-28th June 2015) was the highlight of the project that lasted 4 months.
The main idea of the project was to enrich participants within competences that would increase their social activity, help them to create their surroundings and change its shape. It was also an attempt to understand cultural differences that occurs between the partners in order to find common European roots. They used various methods of work such as: workshops, discussions, happenings and simulation games.
At the end of the project a common happening was organized. It presented the results of the workshops and participant?s discussions. The happening took place at the beach in Olecko and was addressed to a local community.
At the end participants prepared a multimedia presentation that included video and photos that promotes the ideas of the project.
