Armenia, or Hajastan, a country on the border between Europe and Asia, lies in the Southern Caucasus. The highest mountain is the extinct Aragac volcano, rising to a height of 4090 m, and the beautiful Sewan Lake is one of the highest lakes in the world.
During the show I will talk about cycling through Armenia and the hospitality of its inhabitants. We will see how many peaks Aragac has, what Armenian Stonehenge looks like. Armenia is the oldest Christian country in the world. I will also tell about Khachkaras, which are an important element of the Armenian culture.
