Anna Sołtysiak

A graduate of the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (diploma with honours from the Chancellor) and Art History at the Faculty of Historical and Social Sciences at the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw (2006). In 2008 she studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Carrara (Accademia di Belle Arti di Carrara) as part of the Erasmus grant. Since 2010, she has been active in the field of art education for children, youth and adults as an instructor of group and individual art workshops. Since 2011 she has co-operated with the monthly magazine “Przyroda Polska” as an author of illustrations, pictures and educational texts. In 2014 she worked on the on the reconstruction and conservation of the painting layer of the paintings preserved on the walls of the Old Orangery in the Royal Baths Park in Warsaw. In the years 2015-2017 she was a curator and organizer of exhibitions as well as art and photographic competitions at the Raszyn Culture Centre. She is actively involved in artistic work, painting, drawing, photography, illustration and artistic fabric. She has participated in numerous exhibitions in Poland and abroad. Her works can be found in the collection of Joanna and Krzysztof Madelski, the Central Museum of Textiles in Łódź and the Xanadu Gallery in Warsaw.
