Anna Sobol

A graduate of the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and the Academie des Beaux Arts in Liege (Belgium).
She practises easel painting, lithography, artistic photography and explores traditional subjects, such as portraits, landscapes, nudes, metaphorical compositions.
She experiments with a unique technique of encaustic painting; she has created multimedia performances based on her own work as well as cartoons, animated films and art theatre together with participants of art classes in the Kadr Culture Centre, where she managed the gallery for over 20 years and where she still teaches painting.
She has organized numerous exhibitions (including the “Sacrum Novum” series in Poland and Belgium), the “New Deotyma” Art Lounge and the Art_Cafe discussion club.
She is a member of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers and a member Art Visual Dance artistic group.
In 2019, she ran a cyclical program “History of one picture” (10 episodes) on TVP Polonia.
