The film shows the change that has taken place in the country, as well as the changes that have taken place in the mentality of Poles over a very short period (in one year 1989). Film materials from the period 1988-1990 harmonize with photographs and diaries written at that time by Poles and messages about changes that are taking place. The most important political, social and moral events of that period were presented, as well as important political events confronted by comments of their active observers: ordinary people, politicians of the power camp and oppositionists.
