The 13th edition of the cycle, which summarizes the most important achievements of Polish cinema films, with modern interpretations of jazz. As part of the previous editions there were presented the images of “Polish film school” and the creators. In this edition, a theme will be “cinema of moral anxiety” – a trend in Polish cinema between the years from 1976 to 1981, considered as the most important phenomenon of a cinematography since the Polish Film School.
The canon of mainstream include films such as: Rough Treatment, Camouflage, Constans and Contract (Krzysztof Zanussi), Amateur, Case (Krzysztof Kieslowski), Provincial Actors by Agnieszka Holland.
“The protective colors” – a film from 1976, is one of the most important films of “cinema of moral anxiety”, which touches a problem of a conformity of the Polish intelligentsia. The author of a screenplay is the director – Krzysztof Zanussi, images – Edward Kłosiński, music – Wojciech Kilar. The film received many awards: in Gdansk, Rotterdam, Tehran. It has been recognized by US director Martin Scorsese as one of the masterpieces of Polish cinematography and in 2014 was selected by him as part of Martin Scorsese Presents to present in the United States and Canada – Masterpieces of Polish Cinema.

Kuba Stankiewicz. Versatile pianist and composer. He belongs to the leading Polish jazz pianists. It is confirmed by giving him a nomination for an Award of Phonographic Academy Fryderyk 2013 in a category: an Album of the Year – Jazz.
